Concert this Thursday July 27 at 7 pm at Coronado Community Auditorium in Hot Springs Village
Concert Violinist Oksana will be playing with Dr. Ron Hall on the piano, and Slavek Bolubah on drums jazz music from 40s and 50s.
Dr. Ron Hall is keyboardist and vocalist. Dr. Hall has been involved in several musical venues throughout his career. After graduating from Henderson State University with a degree in piano and choral education, he spent two years touring the United States and Canada, one year with Roy Mack’s “The Box Tops.” In addition to performing jazz and pop music, he has served Methodist, Baptist, and Presbyterian churches as minister of music, directing and arranging music for choirs and handbell groups. Hall earned both theMaster of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degreesfrom Southwestern Seminary. He was choral director at Benton High School from the Fall of ’96 through the Spring of 2001 and served in the same capacity at Southern Arkansas University from 2001-2003. Currently Dr. Hall is Minister of Music at First United Methodist Church of Benton. He is also a member of the Hot Springs Jazz Society Board of Directors and has been featured in several jazz events with Gary Meggs.
Slavek Bolubah will be playing on drums.
